2013 Ford Taurus SHO Spied on Streets

A not-yet-in-the-showroom 2013 Ford Taurus SHO was recently spied being driven along the streets of Los Angeles with a manufacturer plate from Michigan. According to the American automaker, the Taurus SHO will not debut until this spring and will be quite the performance upgrade from the 2012 Taurus.

In a press release, Ford said that the SHO will be the sportiest Taurus of all time, featuring a “unique blend of the award-winning, fuel-efficient EcoBoost engine, enhanced driving dynamics and performance-inspired designed.”

The vehicle’s chief designer Gordon Platto said that the SHO was designed to meet what drivers had asked for. Platto said, “Listening to SHO buyers and enthusiasts encouraged us to strengthen the design and the driving quality for the new 2013 model. For us, this was a clear indication that SHO customers have passionate feelings about aesthetics and design as well as performance.”
