2013 Audi S6, S7 Coming this Autumn

Luxury automaker Audi has announced that this fall it will release from its stables the 2013 S6 and 2013 S7. The S-series are the sporty versions of Audi’s popular midsized sedans, the A6 and A7.

Putting the “s” into “sporty,” the S-series executive sedans will feature identical turbocharged engines and adjustable suspensions. This engine will be a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 that is able to power out 420 horses and 406 pound-feet of torque. With its quicker spooling and twin-scroll setup, the engine will suffer from less turbo lag than do some other turbocharged engines.

Word from Audi is that the S7 will get to 60 in 4.2 seconds, the lighter S6 in 4.1. Prices have not yet been released for the sporty executive sedans, but you can check Audi finance deals for current models here.
