2013 Nissan Sentra is Here, Finally

The 2013 Nissan Sentra has finally arrived and if the Japanese automaker is to be believed, it will be a mighty fine addition to its class of compact cars.

For the first time in half a dozen years, this new Versa is all-new. Hitting the scales at a full 150 pounds lighter than its predecessor and making use of a continuously variable transmission and a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, the new Versa will be, according to Nissan, rated at 40 miles per gallon on the highway, 34 combined. Nissan says its combined rating is the best in its class.

The car itself is 2.3 inches longer though a little narrower. Inside, rear passengers will get more room than what they find in the 2012 model.

Pricing for the new Sentra has yet to be released.  Go here for the latest Nissan Sentra leases.
